#WeAreWinter Sochi 2014


With only a month to go until the Sochi 2014 Olympic Games we are thrilled to present #WeAreWinter, a campaign launched for the Canadian Olympic Committee directed by Henry Lu.

#WeAreWinter features 17 Canadian athletes in training gearing up for the Sochi 2014 winter games. Having a history in documentary film making, Lu was able to get to the core of what representing Canada at the winter games means to these athletes. Proximity worked hand in hand with production to create a powerful TV campaign to drive audiences to the COC site olympic.ca.

This has been a massive undertaking and HUGE shout out to all of our production partners who worked on this project to make it magical - Posterboy Edit, Grayson Matthews, Red Lab & Alter-Ego and all of the uber crew.

MOH + Perlorian Brothers = Titanium


In the most coveted Lions category Titanium and Integrated, where only 13 awards were doled out among 437 entries, Canada won a Bronze Integrated Lion for the Ministry of Health and Long-term Care’s “Social Smoking” campaign out of BBDO Toronto directed by The Perlorian Brothers.

BBDO CCO David Lubars, one of four US jurors on the 10-person panel, said the whole premise of the campaign (illustrating the delusional aspect of social smoking via social farting parody) “made it so obvious it was stupid”, adding that “the best pieces have a universal truth.”
